Golf
The Golf single trip travel insurance policy provides an excellent level of travel insurance cover which is suitable for the typical holiday abroad.

Prima Golf
The Prima Golf annual travel insurance policy provides comprehensive travel insurance cover for up to 60 days per trip. It is available in two versions, for either European or worldwide travel.

Prima Golf Ski
The Prima Golf Ski annual travel insurance policy offers cover for up to 60 days per trip, worldwide and European. It also includes winter sports cover for your skiing or snowboarding holiday of up to 24 days per trip.

All of our golf policies contain:

Golf Medical— Cover for medical expenses up to £10 million to cover you whilst you are playing golf.

Golf Liability — Cover for up to £2 million for legal expenses and for legal liability for damages incurred by you which are caused by an accident that happens whilst you are playing golf, and leads to claims made against you.

Personal Accident— A benefit of up to £25,000 will be paid to you or your legal representative if you have a personal accident whilst playing golf which, at the end of 12 months after that accident, is the sole cause of your consequent disability.

Green/club fees— Up to £400 in the event that you are unable to play golf because of sickness or injury.

Golf Equipment— Up to £2,500 for loss, theft or damage to your equipment that occurs in the Club House, Professional’s shop or Caddie-Master’s Hut. The maximum payable for any single item is £250.

Hole-in-one— Up to £100 in respect of customary bar expenses incurred by you as a result of, and immediately subsequent to achieving a hole-in-one during a competition round.

Golf Hire— Up to £150 for the hire of golf equipment in the event that your golf equipment is lost or delayed in transit for more than 12 hours while travelling to overseas destination.

New for old cover— If you select ‘new for old’ cover you are insuring your golfing equipment for its current replacement value: ie: what it would cost to replace your equipment in the event of a claim.

Indemnity— If you select ‘indemnity’ cover, you are insuring your golfing equipment for the value of the equipment after making proper allowance for wear and tear and depreciation.

Couples and families
Family travel insurance policies include an unlimited number of children under the age of 18, including step and foster children. In addition, those under 23 are classed as children on family policies, if they are still in full-time education. Unmarried and same-sex couples are treated in exactly the same way as married couples, provided they have been living at the same residential address for the last 12 months.

What you need to tell us
To ensure that this insurance provides adequate cover, it is important that you tell us if you have any existing medical conditions. You must also tell us of any fact that is likely to influence us in the assessment or acceptance of this insurance. Failure to do so may mean that you have insufficient cover in the event of a claim.

Policy excess
In most cases, an excess of £50 applies to single trip policies. However, we do not apply it where claims are just for benefit payments - for example, for travel delay. Alternatively, you have the option to remove the excess if you wish. For each claim, we only apply one excess per person, regardless of how many sections of the policy the claim covers.

Flexibility
All of our policies are designed to be flexible, so if you want something a little different, just ask!

IMPORTANT
Our Golf Travel Insurance policies have an upper age limit of 64 years. (Must have been a resident of the UK for the last 12 months).

Please note that our travel insurance is only available to UK nationals, or people who have lived in the UK for 12 months or more and have a permanent UK address.
