SECTION 13

HIJACK

(THIS SECTION IS NOT INCLUDED ON THE DISCOVERY [Backpackers] AND ESSENTIALS [annual multi trip] POLICIES)

This section does not apply to trips within your country of residence.

Covered

You are covered up to £1,000 for a benefit of £100 for each full 24 hour period during the unlawful seizure or wrongful exercise of control over you or of an aircraft or conveyance in which you are travelling as a passenger.

Not Covered

1. if you or your family or your business associates have engaged in activities that could be expected to increase the risk of hijack;
2. anything listed in "Exclusions applicable to the whole policy".
