SECTION 8

LOSS OF PASSPORT/DRIVING LICENCE EXPENSES

(THIS SECTION IS NOT INCLUDED ON THE ESSENTIAL [annual multi trip] POLICY)

Covered

You are covered up to £200 for:

1. reasonable travel or accommodation expenses over and above any payment which you would normally have made during your trip if no loss had been incurred, that you have to pay as a result of you needing to replace a lost or stolen passport/driving licence.

Condition

1. You must provide receipts for all costs incurred.

Not Covered

1. the policy excess of £50;
2. if you do not exercise reasonable care for the safety or supervision of your passport/driving licence;
3. costs arising from any loss not covered under Section 7, Cash and Documents;
4. if you do not obtain a written police report within 24 hours of the loss;
5. loss, destruction or damage arising from confiscation or detention by Customs or other officials or authorities;
6. anything listed in "Exclusions applicable to the whole policy".
