Benefits
For Club Direct customers purchasing our Winter Sports Travel Insurance, multi-lingual medical assistance is just a telephone call away, 24 hours a day. You also have the extra safety of being covered on and off piste. You can ski safe in the knowledge that you are fully covered if you suffer serious injury on the mountain; our Winter Sports Travel Insurance policies offer mountain rescue as standard which includes Helicopter recovery and air ambulance.
Sports and Activities
As winter sports holidays are often more activity focused, we cover you, as standard, for a number of sports and activities giving you the flexibility to choose to do them at the last minute without having to worry about extra insurance cover.
In addition to this, we also offer top up cover for a wide range of other sports and activities. For example, if you plan to go Paragliding or Cat Skiing, we can provide additional extensions to the policy to cover you for this.
Equipment:
Skis and snowboards, whether your own or hired, are covered both on and off the mountain, as well as in transit. In addition to insuring you for any equipment which is lost, stolen or damaged, we also provide up to £300 for the hire of replacements while you're in the resort.

As you pass the age of 74 it can become difficult to find a Travel Insurance provider who will cover you for your holidays. At Club Direct we are proud to be able to offer customers Single Trip Wintersports Travel Insurance online up to the age of 99 and Annual Multi Trip Wintersports Travel Insurance online up to the age of 74. - Our Silver Annual Ski and Gold Annual Ski policies include all the benefits of Annual cover with the addition of winter sports cover, so if you plan to take a summer holiday as well, these are often a good option. Both our Annual Ski products include up to 24 days per year skiing or snowboarding cover, as well as general Worldwide or European travel for an unlimited number of trips of up to 31 or 60 days each during the year. - Single Trip Travel Insurance is generally cheaper than buying annual multi trip, however if you are travelling more than once during a 12 month period it may be more economical to purchase an Annual Multi Trip policy as this will give you the freedom to travel as often as you like. Depending upon which annual multi trip policy you purchase, you can either travel for up to 31 days or 60 days per trip. Quote Now
- As soon as you book your Single Trip Travel Insurance your cancellation cover will begin; therefore, if possible, it is best to purchase your travel insurance policy as soon as you can after you have booked your holiday. Quote Now
